Annual Meeting Minutes from 7.5.2008
Monday, July 21, 2008

The 2008 annual meeting of the Woodstock Community was convened by Arie DeHoog in the absence of Mayor Kenny Powell who was involved in the Evans Road fire effort. Approximately 27 residents were in attendance.

Appreciation was extended to Kathy and Michael Rhoades and their helpers for planning and coordinating the fun and games and parade, to Susan and Mark Mann for all their assistance, to the Joe Hudson family for Friday night’s activity and fantastic fireworks display, and to everyone else who worked to make the annual gathering so successful.

Treasurer Susan Mann reported the following:
The treasurer reported that 22 of the 24 households paid the annual road fee for the year. She also indicated that expenses are expected to increase this year due to the increase in gasoline necessary for delivery of rock if needed and road maintenance.

A.B. Cubbedge made a motion to increase the road fee from $80 to $100. Debora Mann seconded. Motion was approved. Susan Mann was commended for an excellent job as the new treasurer.

Election of Mayor resulted in Richard Mann being elected. He was nominated by Debora Mann and elected by a unanimous vote of those assembled. Susan Mann was reelected Treasurer by acclimation.

Discussion of the 2009 meeting then ensued. A committee chaired by Brandy and Kevin Mann will select the parade theme and coordinate the fun and games activities. The 2009 meeting will be Saturday, July 4, 2009, and will follow the same schedule of events.

A big thank-you was given to Arie for presiding at the meeting.
