Greetings Woodstock Earthlings, “ 4th of July fast approaches!”.
The parade theme this year is ALIENS. Mind meld back to the not so distant past when the parade had more participants than spectators. Let us return to that sense of community. One and all, let your imagination run wild to create your inner alien.
Schedule for Saturday July 4, 2015
2 pm - Parade. (Line up in front of Mark Mann’s home.)
3 pm - Fun and Games (Various locations to be announced.)
5 pm - Town Meeting (On the shore in front of Billie’s home.)
6 pm - Community Meal (On the shore in front of Billie’s home.)
Aliens can be voracious eaters. Please give generously.
How You Can Help
Continuing with the community idea, this year I am giving each family group the opportunity to host a game or games. To avoid repetition, please let me know what you are planning and where.
A water slide and dunking booth will be available on Arie & Jan DeHoog’s peach tree lot. It is to be used with adult supervision.
